Mr. Duane A. Cline
Mr. Duane A. Cline was the AR Mayflower Society’s Governor from 1987 to 1993.  He also served as the General Society of Mayflower Descendants Assistant Governor General from 1993 to 1996.  Mr. Cline also served as the Education Chairperson for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.  Mr. Cline prepared this study guide for use by Teachers, Students, and the General Public.  This guide is an excellent learning tool for anyone interested in learning more about the Pilgrims as well as the Wampanoag Nation. 

    There are approximately 90 images of which most are the original artwork of Mr. Cline.  There are also links for individuals to click for more information on any particular subject of interest.

    Mr. Duane A. Cline was appointed to the membership committee by the General Membership chair in 1982.  In 1984 he was appointed to the General Publicity Committee and the General Education Committee.  He developed an education packet for the General Society in 1988.  He was appointed as General Education Chair to the Education Committee in 1988 by Governor General Mildred Ramos. He held that post until he was elected Assistant Governor General in 1993.  At the close of that term he was asked to return to chair the Education committee in 1996.  In 1999 his Centennial History of the General Society was published.  In the fall of 1999 he developed an educational web site "The Pilgrims & Plymouth Colony: 1620". He worked as a consultant with video companies to produce three educational videos on the Pilgrim story.

Alan Cline was appointed by Governor General Mildred Ramos in 1990 to serve on the General Education Committee which he was a member of until 1999.
